I am Heather and this is my sister Ashley (on the left). We were both born and raised in Southern California, but life took us to different parts of the country. However, life is full of surprises and recently Ashley moved across the country to join this Midwest life!

Over these past 12 years I have owned Studio 8412 Photography where I have gotten to live my dream of being a lifestyle photographer. So when you see the pictures of food, that is from me!

However, Ashley is the real star behind Simply Thyme Homestead. Ashley is an amazing food artist! She has a way of making food and elevating it to not only look amazing but taste good as well. But she also takes it one step further and that is making "from scratch" recipes, simple and approachable for those busy moms!

Hence Simply Thyme Homestead was born! The goal is to not only take food and make it fun, but to also take the stress out of the kitchen and meal planning. Our goal is to provide fun recipes, as well as some tips and tricks to use in the kitchen that will make scratch cooking easy for everyone!
