A red, white and blue italian cream soda is a patriotic and refreshing twist on a classic drink. This colorful beverage features layers of vibrant red, white and blue flavors that is the perfect drink for the 4th of July!
Ingredients:
½ cup club soda
2 tbsp blueberry or blue raspberry syrup
2 tbsp sugar free strawberry or sugar free watermelon syrup
2 tbsp half and half
Ice cubes
Whipped cream for topping
Instructions.
Add the blue colored syrup to the glass.
Place ice cubes in a serving glass.
Pour in club soda but do not mix.
Pour in half and half, do not stir the layers together.
Gently pour the sugar free red syrup on top. Again do not stir.
Top the glass with a dollop of whipped cream and add a festive straw.
Enjoy.
** Note: We found that when making layered drinks it’s important to use a sugar free syrup for your top layer otherwise the syrup will sink to the bottom and you won’t get that layered color effect.
